Willingdon Ladies Section extends a welcome to golfers of all ages and abilities. We are a lively, friendly and enthusiastic bunch who like a bit of competitive golf too alongside our fun events. We enter County & National competitions and alkso have friendly matches against local clubs, both midweek and at weekends. We are currently Division 1 champions and holders of the Trio Trophy in Sussex. Our handicaps range from 4 to 44 and our weekly competitions, be they stableford or medals, regularly attract over 40 players. We also play in many mixed competitions arranged by the club.
Tuesday has traditionally been Ladies Day but we also hold competitions every Sunday. Ladies can also play in multi-tee events organised by the club throughout the year.

Plenty of medal and stableford competitions both midweek and at the weekend. Golfers vie for places in the various teams taking on other local clubs and counties including the Wellesley County scratch knockout and Birchwood County handicap knockout. Lots of matches to get involved in too. There are 7 Summer league matches plus a gala day along with many mixed matches with local clubs. Knockout competitions are contended in both the summer and winter plus a mens invitation day.

Men over 55 can join the Seniors section. Regular competitions are held on Thursdays, with joint events with Ladies throughout the year. The summer season sees a whole host of friendly matches stretching across Kent and Sussex, along with a County foursomes matchplay knockout - the Cyril Blake. The Seniors contend both summer and winter singles and pairs knockout competitions and host both an Invitation Day as well as a Team Open. Golf continues into the winter with a Winter league which sees 14 matches played plus a gala day. There is also a busy social calender.

At Willingdon Golf Club we are passionate about giving youngsters the opportunity to get into the game of golf.
Coaches Colton and Darren offer a variety of options for junior golfers who can be either beginning their journey in the game or looking to develop existing skills with some striving towards an elite level. There are a variety of options for juniors looking to learn and improve at Willingdon including:
• Seasonal taster sessions
• 1-2-1 coaching
• Weekly group coaching
• School holiday coaching camps
Junior membership at Willingdon allows our young golfers the opportunity to practice their skills on the clubs facilities as well as full use of the golf course. A full list of fixtures will be released at the start of each calendar year offering social and competitive play and the chance to gain reduce their handicaps.
