Welcome to Willingdon Golf Club
Phil Tutt - Club Captain

On behalf of all the members and staff, a very warm welcome to Willingdon Golf Club.

I am extremely honoured and privileged to have been elected as Captain of our wonderful golf club. Our majestic course nestles in a giant bowl alongside the South Downs and from its highest points, spectacular views can be enjoyed across the Channel and inland to East Sussex.

Competitions are run throughout the year, with our chalk base and our measured, qualifying winter course we are able to play competitive golf throughout the winter months.

After your round of golf why not enjoy our clubhouse hospitality, with a refreshing drink and a freshly made snack, our spacious clubhouse is also available for private hire.

Our Head Professional Colton Alleyne-Davis and his team of qualified PGA professionals are dedicated to helping you enjoy better golf – they offer an extensive range of services in our newly refurbished Golf Studio equipped with Foresight GC3 Launch Monitor. Colton and the team offer a wide array of lessons, including bespoke one-to-one packages and beginner lessons.

I am sure you will enjoy Willingdon Golf Club as much as I have for the last 29 years!

Wishing you all – members and visitors a happy and successful golfing season.

Jane Smyth - Ladies Captain

The Ladies section encourages golfers of all standards to join our busy, vibrant, and friendly section. We include experienced county players as well as new and improving golfers.

Our competitions are played on Tuesdays and Sundays. We run various individual medal and Stableford competitions, pairs, mixed tee competitions, and team and fun events.

We enter teams and individual players into national and county competitions, inter-club matches and a local winter league competition. We have been very successful in many of these events in the past and continue to strive to put Willingdon on the golfing map.

The calendar of events throughout the year includes some stand-out days: Lady Captain’s Day, The Away Day, The Invitation Day, Ladies Pro-Am and Spring and Autumn meetings. Each of these events will be well organised, well attended and involve lots of laughter. Be it competitive or for fun, we enjoy our golf and particularly the company of each other.
